ABOUT OUR DEPARTMENT

The Department of Computer Science of the Hiralal Bhakat College is successfully runningB.Sc General in Computer Science programme since 2018-19 session. Bachelor in Computer Science is a three year (six semester)full-time regular degree course (CBCS) in Computer Science. This degree course is affiliated by The University of Burdwan. This department suggests computer science honours course in future under the university of Burdwan. We are waiting for such advanced course for the development of technical abilities.

The Computer Science program is aimed at designing and implementing advanced traditional computing environment. Computer science has both ‘logical’ and ‘technical’ components. These components are based on functional and informational requirements, system configurations and Computer science standards and rules that will be used to implement the logical architecture.

     Objectives :

• To prepare computer professionals.
• Be able to demonstrate a substantial understanding of concepts in key areas of computer science.
• Ability to work in a team.

 

     Job & Future Prospects :

      After successful completion of B.Sc you can work as :

• Software programmer & Database Administrator.
• System & Network Administrator.
• Web designer faculty for computer science
• In any govt./ public field.
