Hiralal Bhakat College

Right to Information Act, 2005


Hiralal Bhakat College, being a public authority under Section 2(h) of the Right to Information Act, 2005, is committed to implementing the provisions of the Act in letter and spirit. The College strives to promote transparency, accountability, and good governance through a transparent, efficient, and citizen-friendly administrative system. RTI applications and appeals received by the College are processed promptly and disposed of within the time prescribed under the Act. Citizens may seek information held by or under the control of the College by submitting an application under the Right to Information Act, 2005, in accordance with the prescribed procedure.

Application Procedure:

  1. The application may be typewritten or neatly handwritten and should bear the heading "Application under the Right to Information Act, 2005."
  2. There is no prescribed format under the RTI Act; however, the format provided below may be used.
  3. The application should be written in English or Bengali and addressed to the State Public Information Officer (SPIO), Hiralal Bhakat College.
  4. The information sought should be clear, specific, and point-wise.
  5. Eclose the prescribed application fee Rs 10/-in the approved mode of payment, wherever applicable.
  6. Include a declaration that you are an Indian citizen.
